Washington: Former US President Donald Trump's troubles are not going to subside. The Congressional Committee, which investigates the US Capitol attack, recommended on Monday that criminal charges be filed against former President Donald Trump. The House panel unanimously urged the Justice Department to take action against Trump for inciting the uprising, obstructing official proceedings, conspiring to defraud the US government, and making false statements.
"The committee has developed significant evidence that the president intended to disrupt a peaceful transition of power under our Constitution," Representative Jamie Ruskin said, outlining the house panel's findings. Many people were killed in this violence while many people were injured.
