Los Angeles : Twitter may launch the Twitter Video App for Smart TVs after owner Elon Musk said "it's coming".
On Twitter, a user named S-M Robinson said, "We need a Twitter video app for smart TVs. I'm not watching an hour-long video on Twitter," Musk replied, "It's coming."
After Musk's response, the user tweeted, "This is commendable. I can see the day I cancel my subscription to YouTube and never see it again."
Elon Musk is making several changes on Twitter and one of them is where social media is likely to focus on video, producer and commerce partnerships, the New York Post reported, citing Reuters.
In the past, Musk had said that Twitter will soon start paying creators with a payment block of five million US dollars for the ads given in their answers.
Twitter has also brought a new update where it allows its verified members to upload 2-hour long videos. In a tweet, Musk wrote, "Verified members of Twitter can now upload 2-hour videos (8GB)."
