The aerial mission of former US President Barack Obama being built on the island of Oahu is very much discussed. The sea wall built for its protection is in dispute. Environmentalists say that this is affecting the coasts of the sea. However, in the meantime Obama was seen at the Mansion under construction.
Washington: The 'Hawaii Mansion' being built on the island of Oahu of former US President Barack Obama is in great discussion. It is being told that it is being prepared at a cost of millions of dollars. Although, he is not seen around this under-construction mansion, but in the past he was seen talking to the workers here.
Construction on the beach
During this time Obama was talking with workers from the local construction firm Armstrong Builders, which is building his beach complex. During this, the former President was wearing beige pants and a gray polo t-shirt. He was looking very tense. Obama, 60, was seen most of the time with his arms folded.
Construction in dispute
However, this construction is embroiled in controversies. The project is accused of tampering with a plan to retain the mansion's sea wall, which could have affected the beachfront area. The architects and construction workers present there were planning the design. The building is in the area of the native Hawaiian community of Waimanalo, which still has a long way to go to reach presidential standards.
Friend bought property
Obama plans to someday live his retirement life on this huge beachfront building. The property was bought in 2015 by his close friend Marty Nesbitt for $8.7 million. The developers are currently constructing three homes on the site, including two swimming pools and a safety fence on a three-acre parcel of beach land. Despite state regulations in force in recent years, the property remains a century-old sea wall that was designed to protect it from Hawaii's natural beaches.
